"Intro to Nia" classes, January 2020

Are you ready to fall in LOVE with a workout? Learn about this amazing mindful fitness practice that can recharge your body and your life!

Nia blends dance, martial arts and the healing arts to give you a fun, expressive workout for body, mind, emotions and spirit.

Easy choreography! Inspiring world music! Great cardio, yet easy on the joints!

No experience or talent required. You don’t even have to be fit. You can start this journey where you are, in your “today” body. Bad back? Arthritis? Knee issues? No problem. Nia adapts to your unique body.

In these special “Intro to Nia” classes, teacher Paula Chambers will share the origins, nature and benefits of Nia and give tips for how to get the most out of your first class. Then we’ll do a full one-hour Nia workout and discuss the experience at the end.

Regular weekly classes are held in these same locations at approximately these times (60 mins not 90), so if you can make an Intro class, you can make that regular class.
