Nia uses dance, martial arts and healing to give you a whole-person workout (body, mind, emotions and spirit). No experience or talent required. You don’t even have to be fit. You can start this journey where you ARE, in your “today” body. All ages, genders and fitness levels welcome. (Venue is not wheelchair accessible.) Bad back? Arthritis? Knee issues? No problem. Nia is SAFE for your unique body.
Instructor Paula Chambers will start by sharing the origins, nature and benefits of Nia, with tips for how to get the most out of your first class.
Then we’ll do a full one-hour Nia class and discuss our experiences at the end.
