Intro to Nia Technique

Are you ready to fall in LOVE with a workout? Nia Technique is designed to be so much fun you won’t want to stop. Simple, accessible, low-impact moves from dance, martial arts and yoga take you on a sweaty, joyful ride through inner space. You’ll emerge glowing with positive energy – and minus a few hundred calories!
No experience or dance talent required. All you need is about 60 sq ft of floor space. Hardwood and carpet are both fine. Nia Technique is done barefoot, but you can wear shoes if you need to.
75-minute “Intro” class includes information about Nia, a full Nia workout, and discussion afterwards.
INTRO CLASS IS FREE, BUT REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

Paula Chambers, Ph.D., is a somatic educator, motivational speaker and mindful dance fitness teacher. A 2nd Degree Back Belt in Nia Technique, Dr. Chambers also has training in experiential anatomy and movement for grief and trauma recovery. Paula teaches online from her home studio in Los Angeles, California.
